Feeding Product Recommendations

Favorite product: Bear Drinking Cup With straw

I love the scaffolding this cup can provide by first teaching babies to use a straw with support (you can squeeze the bear gently as they suck), then they can eventually hold/use independently.

Bowls/Mats

My favorite bowls for everyday use are the Munchkin brand set with lids. They are top rack dishwasher safe and lightweight. The lids are nice if food goes unfinished to save for later or to take with you on the go!

These mats stay in place and I love the divided sections so children can clearly see the different foods on their plate. This brand is very reliable and made from a quality material that will last throughout toddlerhood!

Spoons

Num Num spoons are a great spoon for babies just beginning to self-feed. They are staged so that one is better for holding thicker foods and one is better for holding thinner foods.

I can’t say enough great things about Grabease! They are meant for independent feeding, and they have a stopper to prevent choking. They are little, cute and colorful…and of course, dishwasher safe! They come with a little pouch too so they are easy to take with you on-the-go.

These tiny spoons are soft enough for baby to feed themselves safely. They also have little bumps to help prevent gagging/choking. They go great with the other ezpz brand products!

Bibs

We love this Oxo Tot bib! It is easy to wipe clean and the pouch is great for catching food that would otherwise go under the tray/on baby.

These bibs by Carters are great starter bibs–they are lightweight for babies first starting solids/purees. They are also a good price point.

Bapron bibs–not only are they ADORABLE, it covers the front of your child fully and ties around their back (not neck).

Cups

This “tiny cup” is the cutest thing for tiny hands. My son LOVES drinking from it. Drinking from a cup is a great skill for babies to develop. I can’t recommend this one enough!

Looking for a great transition cup for a baby just moving on from solely bottles to sippy cups? The NUK sippy cups have been wonderful for us (and many other moms I talk to)!

Another GREAT training cup–this bear cup with straw is squeezable to help guide baby’s first attempting to use a straw be successful.

Continuing on the developmental timeline of cups…the Munchkin Miracle 360 Trainer cups are AWESOME! I first found out about these teaching preschool when students would bring these in for snack. They are spill proof and drinkable from anywhere around the cup. Kids love these!

Travel

I love these travel spoons with cases for throwing in the diaper bag after feeding at a restaurant or anywhere where you might not have time to wash before throwing back in the bag!
