Lovevery box- Months 9 & 10

WHAT IS LOVEVERY?

Lovevery is a company that is passionate about creating developmental baby products that are research-based and designed by child development experts. Their products are well-made and purposeful. What they stand for is just part of the reason I am becoming obsessed with this company. They hold so much value on knowing the importance of the experiences in the first three years of life, and how they impact a child’s brain development. With that in mind, they create play kits based on child’s age to bring you toys and play ideas that will meet your child right where they’re at!

THE PLAY KITS

The play kits start at birth and go up to 24 months of age (although I am certain I could identify some 3-year-olds that would play with these items too!). I started my son with a play kit just above him because I was able to see what was in each kit ahead of time, and knew that he already had experience with many of the items in the kit for his actual age. Therefore, we just received our first kit: the explorer for months 9-10.

What is in the kit?

Although you can find all this information & more on their website, I wanted to run through my thoughts on each item in the kit & what skills it helps to develop.

Play guide

  • The guide is full of ideas for using the play kit items and additonal information about your baby’s age & stage.

I am super happy with our first box! As a former early childhood educator, I can truly see the value in each item and how it plays a role into the development of the “whole child”. I also really appreciate the detailed play guide, so that even if you don’t have any early childhood background, you can create a rich play environment for your kiddo without much hassle! I also love how open-ended the items are, so I don’t think my son will get sick of them (even beyond the intended age). We will keep you posted on how our playing and learning goes!
